Do I need a Plaud account?

No. Mnemo connects to the recorder directly. Signing in to Plaud is optional and used only to refresh a device signature.

Does it work offline?

Yes, for everything that touches your content. The network is used only for the four purposes listed above.

Is it real-time?

No. Mnemo processes a recording after it ends, which is what makes speaker labels and cross-recording facts possible.

Which Macs and languages are supported?

Apple silicon Macs running macOS 13 or later. English and Mandarin Chinese; summaries follow the language of the recording.

What happens after the trial?

Reading, search, playback and export keep working. Sync and new processing pause until you activate a license.
